By car

Newlyn School of Art is situated just a five-minute drive from Penzance and twenty minutes from St Ives.

To reach the school by car take the A30 heading west; at the Penzance roundabout with Tesco supermarket continue on the A30 west bypassing Penzance. Travel straight over three further roundabouts and then turn left at the next crossroads onto the B3315 signposted ‘Newlyn’ and continue until you reach the crossroads in Newlyn. Turn right onto Chywoone Hill (continuing on the B3315). After 800 yards near the top of Chywoone Hill, to your right, you will see a large granite building set up from the road above a tall granite wall. Turn right here into Tredavoe Lane (opposite Adit Lane) and then immediately right into the entrance to Newlyn School of Art. Once you are through the gate drive past the front of the school to find the area designated as free parking for patrons of the school.

By Bus

There is a bus stop directly outside the Newlyn School of Art which is served by First Kernow Busses. The bus stop is called "Chywoone Hill".

By Train to Penzance

There is a regular direct train from London Paddington to Penzance. It is a five to ten-minute drive by taxi from Penzance train station to Newlyn School of Art.
