CORNISH LANDSCAPES

This inspiring four-day landscape painting course taught by artist Maggie O'Brien takes students to paint in some of West Cornwall’s most dramatic and beautiful coastal locations.

Highly respected artist Maggie O’Brien is a generous and engaging tutor, helping participants create highly individual, atmospheric works in oils which express the essence of Cornwall. Maggie is always on hand encouraging students to try new things and find their own favoured techniques. Studies may be figurative or abstract or occupy the exciting ground between the two.

Teaching is tailored to individual needs and includes one-to-one tuition and group demonstrations using a variety of tools such as brushes, knives, sticks, hands or rags and a variety of paints and techniques.
