This exciting new online figure course with artist Rob Unett gives participants a fantastic immersion into responding expressively to the figure with an amazing variety of techniques and different materials demonstrated. The course is packed with exercises for participants to work with using over 15 different looped model poses to paint from. All of the poses have full length demonstrations by the artist to help illustrate the exercises which encourage inventive exploration with mixed media on different scales from dry drawing materials through to inks and acrylic washes which are often worked into to allow the materials to play their part in the creation of dramatic, colourful and bold figure paintings and drawings.
This course will feed new ways of working with a wide range of drawing and painting materials into any subject you might usually work with. An exciting and liberating course taught by a master of expressive mixed media painting.
The course is pre-recorded so that you can take your time to really absorb the wealth of advice, practical exercises and demonstrations throughout the course. We would advise spending at least around 3-4 days working your way through the course. The artist suggests that it would be good to create several studies from each exercise to fully explore the learning and new techniques and approaches. You have unlimited access to the course for 12 months.
