In a life class designed to intensify the correlation between what we see and the marks we make, drawing without looking at the paper is a fun exercise that Faye suggests to help coordinate eye and hand. Layering up a “tumble of lines” with various drawing tools makes for a disciplined warm up leading us in to longer poses with different materials.

This session with Faye Dobinson will require some coloured pencils, normal pencils, a rubber, chalk, one or two coloured pastels, kitchen roll and a sponge or simlar and some felt tip pens. If you don't have all of these you can still get a lot out of the session with what you have.
