Life Drawing Session No.14

This time working with colour, form and space Jesse paints the model in both standing and sitting poses, paying particular attention to strong graphic shapes made by the figure and background. By keeping the forms simple whilst painting from observation he demonstrates how a series of paintings can be made that can then be worked on later without a model present.

Tutor:
Jesse Leroy Smith

Materials used on this course:

This session with Jesse Leroy Smith requires that you use drawing materials such as pencils (ideally soft eg 2B or higher but any will do), graphite sticks or charcoal etc and some sheets of A2 paper but smaller will be fine if not. Jesse Leroy Smith also goes into ways in which, after the session, you can develop a drawing using paints, however this is mostly a demonstration and so you can attend the session without paints.
