Life Drawing Session No.21

Journeying through a variety of both wet and dry materials Faye warms us up with layered continuous line drawings in different colours, mapping the body whilst disrupting the image. By introducing water and a wax resist and exploiting the properties of acrylic paint the results for further paintings turn out to be unexpected.

Tutor:
Faye Dobinson

Materials used on this course:

This session with Faye Dobinson will require 3 coloured pencils ideally yellow, orange/red and green/blue (but anything other than black), sponge/rag/kitchen roll and some felt tip pens (any 2-3 just not black). Blue or green acrylic paint, a few medium width brushes 1-1.5 ins, water pot. If you don't have all of these you can still get a lot out of the session with what you have.
