Life Drawing Session No.27

With the simplest of materials Jon takes us through a series of exercises focusing on the practice of fluidity within drawing, whilst maintaining a sense of shape.  He looks at how the basic shapes we use for different parts of the body  alter from drawing an upright pose to drawing a lying pose.

Tutor:
Jon Doran

Materials used on this course:

The session with Jon Doran focuses on light and dark, working on toned paper. This session will require some willow charcoal, compressed charcoal, white chalk and some toned paper such as brown sugar paper, newsprint, off-white or mid-tone paper, or even paper you have painted with watered down paint yourself. If you don't have all of these you can still get a lot out of the session with what you have.
