Life Drawing Session No.48

In this session, Jesse highlights ways to use the intensity and bold application of the simplest materials to inject the drama of light onto the figure. Focusing on the head, shoulders and torso, he begins with a discipline to nudge us out of familiar and comfortable drawing techniques by encouraging unconventional mark-making.

Materials used on this course:

This session with artist Jesse Leroy Smith will use white and black chalk/compressed charcoal, rubber, any kind of charcoal or conte crayon, 2 sheets of charcoaled paper, cloth.  However, you don’t need all of these to still get a lot out of the session.
