Life Drawing Session No.49

In this session, Jon demonstrates the application of light and shade, the two tones that give form to the figure. Using three different combinations of white chalk, white acrylic paint, charcoal and indian ink, he guides us through ways to apply the materials and looks at the limitations and benefits of each.

Tutor:

This session with artist Jon Doran will use Indian ink (or watered-down acrylic/watercolour/gouache, charcoal (willow), white acrylic paint, white chalk and a brush. However, you don't need all of these to still get a lot out of the session.
