Life Drawing Session No.50

Using an exciting mix of interesting materials and a deeply intuitive way of working, Kate demonstrates ways to allow the natural qualities of the charcoal, crayons and pigments to guide the outcome of the drawing. By looking intensely and responding to specific poses she shows us a different way of tuning into the human body.

Tutor:
Kate Walters

Materials used on this course:

This session with artist Kate Walters will use linseed oil (or any veg oil), graphite pencil, charcoal, oil bar, watercolour sticks (an alternative would be dry chalks or pastels, or oil pastels dipped in veg oil), water, 2” brush, safflower ink (or any other ink or watered-down acrylic). However, you don't need all of these to still get a lot out of the session.
