Life Drawing Session No.52

In this, the first of a series of sessions looking for inspiration in the drawings of the old masters, Jesse responds to a study of the crucifixion by Michelangelo. He guides us through ways to draw the model in a deeply intuitive way whilst taking inspiration from the layers and lines of the classical drawing.

Tutor:
Jesse Leroy Smith

Materials used on this course:

This session with artist Jesse Leroy Smith will use charcoal, rubber, pencil, fairly strong paper such as cartridge paper and a rag.  However, you don’t need all of these to still get a lot out of the session.
