Life Drawing Session No.57

In this session, we will take a further look at ways to abstract the figure. Jon leads us through various warm-up exercises towards uninhibited mark-making using Indian ink, white chalk, and a variety of different-size brushes.

Tutor:
Jon Doran

Materials used on this course:

Several sheets of brown or toned paper, Indian ink (or watered down black acrylic paint), flat brushes 2” - 4” wide, a few round and flat brushes sizes 6-8, 2 pots of water, white chalk, willow charcoal, stick of graphite, paper towel or rag. However, you don't need all of these to still get a lot out of the session.
