Life Drawing Session No.61

In this session, Kate brings a different dynamic to the life drawing session by introducing her dog to pose with the model. The sense of calm and quiet connectedness between the two is explored in a sensitive but surprisingly energetic way, using unexpected combinations of materials.

Materials used on this course:

Dilute acrylic paints - yellow and fluorescent pink, black and white Ink (or dilute acrylic), with other coloured inks if available. A range of different papers, Kate uses newsprint, and pre-coloured sheets of cartridge in green, black and orange. Wide flat brushes 2” - 4”. Oil bars, oil pastels. Willow charcoal, compressed charcoal, white chalk pastel. A few various-sized garden sticks, kitchen paper and chocolate.
