Life Drawing Session No.9

This session looks at the effectiveness of mark making and also considers how to place a figure in context.  Faye shows us how directional marks of varying lengths can help to guide the eye around a drawing and can also indicate various surfaces. She then demonstrates ways to avoid a solid line around the body and explains a technique to bring the background into the drawing.

Tutor:
Faye Dobinson

Materials used on this course:

This session Faye Dobinson will require drawing materials including some coloured pencils, coloured chalk or pastels, felt tip pens, masking tape or other tape like sellotape, rubber and normal pencils plus some water and a brush.
