Life Drawing Session No.5

Whilst encouraging the use of a variety of materials when drawing the figure, in this session Jesse demonstrates the versatility of just a pencil. With the emphasis on seeing the subject afresh and responding in a natural way, rather than a measured one, he shows that by applying different pressures and energy to the pencil throughout the drawing, a lively and interesting study can be achieved.

Tutor:
Jesse Leroy Smith

Materials used on this course:

This session requires that you use a pencil (ideally soft eg 2B or higher but any will do) and 5-6 sheets of A2 paper but smaller will be fine if not.
