We are delighted to launch our new Year-long Online Landscape Course!

SKETCHBOOKS IN OILS

SKETCHBOOKS IN OILS

In this new four-day course, respected coastal painter Amanda Hoskin teaches participants how to build up sketchbooks of oil studies to create a stunning record of artistic investigation.

Over her career to date Amanda has created hundreds of amazing sketchbooks crammed full of beautiful smaller scale landscape paintings which are accompanied by notes on her observations, records of colour and foreground studies. She will help students to learn how to use sketchbooks to bring a richness to their practice and the process and benefits of working on different scales.

The course will take students to outdoor sites which have not previously been used on Amanda's Landscape in Oils course.

A fantastic course enabling you to work alongside an extremely experienced landscape artist who will give a host of demonstrations and one-to-one tuition throughout the course.

A reasonable level of fitness is required for this course, as you may be required to walk 1 mile on uneven coastal paths to get to the best painting locations, from the minibus drop-off points.
