Mike Thorpe
Originally from Manchester, Mike runs an artists’ collective working out of an old silk mill in Macclesfield, Cheshire. He is an artist, curator and designer working with a variety of media: video film and projection; collage; and painting, often combining these elements to create installations.
He has strong family and creative links with the SW and is a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists. He has exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition, the RWA Summer Exhibition the Manchester Open, and various galleries in the SW and NW.
