Terry Gibson
Terry takes as his starting points the interactions of analogue synthesisers with found sounds and a range of other instruments, evolving music and soundscapes organically through this process. His pandemic album project ‘Before and After Silence’ (which can be found on Bandcamp) showcases this approach. His collaboration with Mike Thorpe, ’Notes from the Margins’, took music creation on site to Cape Cornwall where it was woven together with Mike’s visuals.
Terry also works, researches and writes in the field of International Development and has authored two books, ‘Making Aid Agencies Work’ (Emerald, 2019) and ‘Disaster Makers’ (Bloomsbury, 2024, forthcoming).
